What’s Possible After You Write Your Book

I’ve noticed for myself that when I see evidence of what’s possible, it’s easier for me to believe that I can do it too. We tend to think that something is impossible until we see someone else do it first. Now, I’m not discounting the desire and ability to be first. After all, someone has to be the first, right? Take sports records for example.  Once a runner beats a time, you notice that multiple others are able to beat the time too. Why? They now believe it’s possible.

With that in mind, I want to share some of the amazing things that my past clients have been doing since their books have been released. These entrepreneurs busted past time constraints (procrastination), perfectionism, fear of not being enough and wondering all the “what if’s.” I hope that you’ll see what’s possible after you write your book through them.

What I’ve been up to since the launch of my book is using my book as my platform to speak to the resilience that is within all of us and the role that hope plays in our success.  I have held book signings in the U.S.

My book sales, including international sales has reached over a thousand copies.  I have even had an international speaking engagement.

In October, I spoke and had a book signing in Michigan at Words Heard ‘Round the World. I am continuing to seek out additional speaking engagements and appearances on radio and TV.  Two radio stations have invited me to be a guest — one local and one East Coast.  I will continue to use my book as the platform on which to spread hope and its role in our success.

The most important things to achieving what I have so far are: Remember that you are not alone. Don’t try to do this alone. The support of family, friends even the tribe you were not aware existed for you assists you on your journey. Most importantly be consistent in your message, your established goals and effort you put forth toward your success. Everything you do toward your goal opens up opportunities to help you succeed. If you do nothing the doors of opportunity are not present for you to walk through.

Dr. Joy Lough, Best Selling Author, Small Business Startup Strategist

Books: Rising Above and One Word

Since the book, I have been invited an invited guest and lecturer for a few of the schools /universities speaking on Entrepreneurship and overcoming challenges.  I have even been asked to help develop a curriculum at one of the Universities

In October, I was invited to speak at the Billion Dollar Brand Event in Michigan and do a book signing there.

I am finishing up my next book,  “7 Steps to Success for the Entrepreneur.”  In Early 2019, I will have a workshop series assisting entrepreneurs with the start up process

What I have learned is that there is still a lot to learn still, even with this PhD, but I have to trust that The Universe will guide my path and know that I am able to move forward.  On the days I want to quit or take a break, I know I must keep going because my family depends on me, my business depends on me, and my future depends on me.  I know that I have the tools for success. I just need to keep applying them on a daily basis

Angela Irwin, Best Selling Author, International Confidence Coach, TEDx Speaker, Consultant, Founder of Joyful Life Solutions

Book: Courageous World Catalysts II

This has been a year of expansion for me and for my business.  Two of my main goals came to fruition this year: doing a TEDx talk and co-publishing a book.  Both items had been goals for a long time. The difference was this year, I took deliberate action towards them instead of just thinking about them, as I had done in years past.

In addition, I’ve gotten even more clarity around how I am best suited to help others.

The way we feel about ourselves affects nearly every aspect of our lives: our relationships, our job performance, our reaction to things, our mood, our decision making. For something so integral to all aspects of our lives, it’s rarely discussed or understood.

I learned late in life that confidence is something a person can build and that the negative beliefs we have about ourselves can be reprogrammed.  Initially, I thought confidence was something you either had or didn’t have. I wasn’t aware that it was something you could build, like a muscle.

I was also unaware that the deep, core beliefs we think about ourselves are formed in early childhood. They form the basis of our self-confidence/self-worth. These are things that we experienced or that were told to us or that we observed. The problem is, as children, we don’t have the capacity to challenge these ideas, so we simply take them on as fact.  Many times, these ideas and negative beliefs we have about ourselves are not true, yet they are what we use as guides in our lives.

My goal is to shine a light on these topics. Through speaking, coaching and workshops, I aim to challenge and reprogram the negative views we have of ourselves and build confidence in order to achieve full potential.

Satrece Lorenz, Best Selling Author, Speaker and Director

Having branded myself under the solitary name of “Satrece,” continues to build the platform for the empowerment of women, their strengths, hopes and all possibilities. This singular unique name stands alone similarly to Cher, Madonna, Adele, and Beyoncé.I am the President of our LLC that we conduct all business under including the title of my first book, distraction. distraction is the first of a trilogy. Also I am working on my second book Destiny, and dubai, the final book is forthcoming.

I have been very engaged with not only working on my book Destiny but also creating fun, laughter and exciting stories for future books and speaking engagements.

In 2018 my husband Ron, and I, began our year with a business trip coupled with romance to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Following that, we were on our way to Louisiana’s largest party and the thrill of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We then found ourselves on an impassioned trip to Los Cabos witnessing the celebration of love as our friends exchanged wedding vows.

This summer, Ron and I were in Amsterdam and The Hague in the Netherlands which also included a rendezvous to Antwerp and Brussels, Belgium. Paris was next and oh what fun it was! The city of bistros, champagne, magic and charm is like no other, and will never let you down! We will end the year with the month of December returning to Istanbul, Turkey and the rest in South Africa, beginning with Cape Town. Throughout all of these travels, romance, adventure and style are the themes.

Finding time to write while creating new stories is challenging. In the meantime, I have tackled taking leadership of a failing company to get it back to be a worthy and profitable business, keeping my schedule complicated. However, my husband and I prioritize our love and make every journey memorable. I am looking forward to completing Destiny which gives me the platform to nurture the ultimate goal of this adventure. I am looking forward to our love story becoming a screenplay. Additionally, I am accepting speaking engagements as I promote my books.

Laurie Penner, Best Selling Author, Editor

I’m hoping to finish the sequel to the above Lyme diagnosis book, soon. The title will be, “Something’s Wrong With My Lyme Recovery.” This will be the fourth book in my “Something’s Wrong” series and will cover a wide range of Lyme-related issues: my tick borne co-infections (tested and probable), my personal mold toxin experience, and long-buried infections that became a problem along with the Lyme due to my low immunity.

I have logged results daily for five years, so this book will include the most important statistics and details for the following:

1. All the co-infections that cropped up during my Lyme journey–some early and some later.
2. Various well-known or lesser-known natural protocols my Lyme doctor tried on me–what worked and what didn’t.
3. All the individual supplements–how much I took each month, when I started, when I stopped, and what I continued taking.
4. All the costs (yikes!) and some of the best deals I found.
5.The additional complications I’ve had to deal with, like ear infections, ongoing arthritis, Histamine Intolerance, and Raynaud’s Phenomenon.

My goal with this book is to provide this information to everyone who needs it.  The e-book will be 99 cents, or even free at times, as Amazon allows. I know what it’s like to have little money to deal with health problems, and I have no wish to add to someone’s burden in that respect.

My hopes and prayers go out to all who are traveling a Lyme journey!
